Club Kingswood Chaity Padel Tournament

On Sunday 14th September, Club Kingswood made history by hosting its first charity Padel tournament. The event, supported by Essex sports Journalist and broadcaster Chris Phillips, brought the Members oftClub Kingswood together for a day of fun, competition, and fundraising in aid of Mind of the Student, a mental health charity supporting young people.

The tournament was a huge success, with players and supporters enjoying an exciting day of padel while raising an impressive £1,300–£1,500 for the cause. It was a fantastic turnaround highlighting the positive effect of the sports sociological impact.

As the official UK distributors of Mejorset padel courts, we had the privilege of building the courts at Club Kingswood and attending the tournament ourselves. Seeing the courts being used during such an event was incredibly rewarding, and we were delighted to attend on the day to support the players and the charity.

Mejorset courts are known across Europe for their durability, playability, and sleek design, and it was wonderful to see players and spectators alike enjoying the high-quality facilities at Club Kingswood. For us, moments like these capture why padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK — it’s inclusive, sociable, and perfect for bringing people together.

Congratulations to Club Kingswood, Chris Phillips, Mind of the Student and all involved in organizing this event. Most importantly, congratulations to everyone who, donated, played and helped raise funds for such a vital cause.
